Children's Book Authors: Meet Rico and Rumi

Christopher Miller and his beloved wife, Ronda Roscoe, created The Adventures of Rico & Rumi with a simple mission: to craft engaging children's adventure stories that help parents and educators nurture emotional intelligence in young children. 

Inspired by their children, two grandchildren, the quiet wisdom of nature, and the power of unlikely friendships, their 10-book series combines vibrant jungle adventures with important life lessons for kids. Each story empowers children ages 2–9 to navigate challenges, practice patience, build confidence, discover their inner strengths, and recognize the value of embracing differences.

Ronda manages the business side of the series as the owner and operator of Golden Hearth Tales LLC, while also contributing creatively by developing storylines and guiding the illustrations that bring Rico, Rumi, and their friends to life.

When not working on Rico and Rumi’s latest adventure, Chris and Ronda actively collaborate with parents, educators, and schools to champion early childhood literacy and inspire a lifelong love of reading.
